A preliminary statement of how Saahir handles your information.
What stays on your device
Saahir is designed so that the data the app generates lives on your device, under your control. This includes:
- All network-filtering decisions Saahir makes.
- Any DNS query records or block-list activity Saahir surfaces.
- Your filter rules, preferences, and app settings.
None of the above is transmitted to AL-BIRR MTA, LLC or any third party as part of normal app use.
What we collect from the app
Nothing, by default. Saahir is built to make filtering decisions on-device without sending data to our servers. Specific exceptions are limited to:
- Crash diagnostics via Apple MetricKit. This is an iOS-provided service that respects Apple’s privacy controls. We do not use any third-party crash reporting or analytics SDK.
- Anything you explicitly send us — for example, a support email you write to support@saahir.app. That goes to our email inbox; nothing more.
What runs on our servers
Today, very little:
- This website is hosted on Cloudflare (their privacy policy applies to the hosting layer).
- Email sent to our contact addresses is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to a private mailbox.
Future paid plans may involve light account services; if they do, we will describe them transparently in the full privacy policy that accompanies the app at launch.
What we do not do
- We do not use third-party analytics or telemetry SDKs in the app.
- We do not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize user data. The product will be funded by paid plans, not by your information.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Changes to this statement
This is a preliminary statement and may evolve as the app approaches launch. The version published with the App Store release will be the binding one; we will note material changes prominently.
